“Lakas even announced that Sen. Bong Revilla is their standard-bearer in 2016, so how can there be an alliance when they also have a presidential candidate?” ayon sa solon.
“First, the remark made by Mon Casiple is irresponsible and baseless. Second, the nature of alliances is not about money. We want to forge alliances based on common principles and shared visions,” sabi ng solon.
“Aside from those who want to transfer to VP Binay’s new party, there are case-to-case talks with those who have local parties or those whose national party affiliation will have no presidential candidate; and those who will be given a free hand by their national party to choose their presidential preference since their party has no presidential candidate or no formal alliance with any national party,” paliwanag pa ni Tiangco.
