MMDA TRAFFIC ENFORCERS SASAILALIM SA RETRAINING PROGRAM

Upang higit pang maging at kaaya-aya at pogi sa paningin ng publiko, isinailalim na ngayon ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang kanilang mga traffic constables sa retraining program na nakatuon sa personality development, good grooming, at communication skills.
Naniniwala si MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, ang pagsasailalim sa retraining program ng mga traffic constables na sinimulan na kahapon ay makakatulong hindi lamang para lalo pang paghusayin ang kanilang abilidad sa pangangasiwa ng trapiko kundi para na rin sa pagpapaangat ng kanilang aspetong pisikal.
“We want them to familiarize themselves with new traffic rules and regulations while at the same time train them to look good, feel good, and speak good,” ayon kay Tolentino.
Pinangunahan ang training-seminar ng Traffic Education unit ng ahensya sa tulong na rin ng private professionals na bihasa o eksperto sa personality enhancement, English proficiency and speech development, at grooming and personal hygiene.
Sinabi naman ni Assistant General Manager for Operations Emerson Carlos, lahat ng 1,800 traffic constables ay sasailalim sa programa at ito’y gagawin batch by batch.
Bawat batch ay 30 ang tuturuan sa loob ng tatlong araw.
“Our main goal is make them expert in traffic laws. However, it is also important that they be taught to take care of themselves so that they will look good to the public. We hope that in the coming weeks, there will be no more lousy traffic constables,” paliwanag pa ni Carlos.
